Yengo National Park

Yengo National Park is north of Sydney behind the Central Coast. It adjoins both Wollemi National Park to the west, and Dharug National Park to the south.

Howes Creek, a highway of sand to the centre of the park.

The McDonald River at the Howes Creek junction.

Part of the convict built Great North Road. This section at Mt Lockyer at the Bucketty end.

The convict built Circuit Flat Bridge which is a pleasant walk from Mogo campground at the Bucketty end of the park.

Mt Yengo rises above the surrounding country and is where Biame stepped to before ascending to the sky after creating the world.

Burraga/Devils Rock. This is where the the great spirit Biame stepped from and then on to Mt Yengo to ascend to the sky.
